Well, it looked like it from what I saw.....

Gin Guai (The Eye) (original 2002 Japanese version)

The reason im mentioning it is because of its content. A girl who has been blind most of her life gets a cornea transplant allowing her to see again. Aside from all the normal stuff, she also has the ability to see the paranormal beings and the dead. There are shadowy creatures that apparently come to collect the deceased, these appear as a fuzzy, out of focus humanoid shape. I wonder how these compare with the sightings some people on here have had of shadow beings?

Anyway, I didnt catch much of it, but hope to watch it on a repeat.

Interesting

...about the persons collecting the dead

I remember, one interesting, high strangeness account where a soldier on a battlefield said he was wounded , and close to being dead, and he saw these ships, like the saucer shaped craft, hovering over the battlefield and collecting the souls of those who get KIA.

That's pretty neat. These are the kinds of cases that mainstream UFOlogy avoids like a plague

Its a shame there is generally such a divide between disciplines (UFOlogy/Ghost studies etc) as there does appear to be links. I think a good sign of the links can be found in the Skinwalker case as I believe there was everything there from UFOs to strange creatures and poltergeist activity.... Unless the area was/is a honeypot of sorts :S

Can you remember what that Soldier case was or have a link to it?

No, it's from a book, and it's out of print. It's a shame a lot of old good books are out of print today.

But it wasn't any major case, just something one investigator mentioned in the collection of paranormal experiences in his family (this was I think his father's experience), It was in WW2

Speaking of NDE meets UFO's, there is also the amazing case of Betty Luca Andreasson, who was taken as a child (I think in 1950) to this kind of a crystal cave place, and to a huge (about 8 meters judging by illustration) crystal door, or glass monolith kind of a structure, and then the beings (grays) did something to invoke an OBE experience in her, and she passed through the door, into what she called the world of light, where the "ONE" is. When she returned, no matter what the hypnotist did he couldn't get her to tell him what on the other side. But apparently she had a typical mystical experience, or a meeding with god if you will, the light, just as in NDE cases.

Saddly all of the books on her case are also out of print.

Then you have a lot of cases where people who had UFO abductions have potergeists in their house, apparitions, and even visits from dead relatives.
