I don't remember where I read it. I'm sure the Federal Reserve publishes that information in the New York Times. What difference does it make if the amount of profit is more in one month of war or a day. War is profitable. Fair enough. I don't know if the amount of profit was based on actual figures, or if it was used to illustrate the profitability of war.I think we all know that war is profitable. I would just like to know where the claim comes from. The banks make some serious profits in one calendar year. I'm just not sure that one day of war is more profitable.
As far as whether I'm sick of war, whether I'm sick of economic colonialism/slavery: I'd say yes as well. But that wasn't the stated subject of this thread.
