In my opinion this is an excellent UFO film. The object is way off in the distance and the crowd seems genuinely excited. I've watched this footage a couple of times and when the object is somewhat in focus there's something interesting to note. Maybe it's my imagination but the object seems somewhat similar to what Ed Walters photographed.

Well it's interesting, but I don't see why it can't be what one of the kids was calling it in the video..a shooting star, a big one. Or maybe I should say that the possibility shouldn't be ruled out since it seemed to have flames coming out the back. Since it was night it makes sense only part of the trail would be illuminated.
At one point it almost seemed like the thing changed directions but it's hard to tell since the video was shaky.

I don't know, maybe a meteor should look very different from that and perhaps the Chinese lantern is a better explanation.
 
It might be the camera, but I see a structure above the light itself. Almost 'bath-tub' shaped. The video also shows 2 objects, one closer to the horizon. It reminded me a bit of this kind of UFO shape;
