I saw the video today, and be damned if it did not look like a staged event.

Here's why.

The guy stands up, and Bush looks immediately at him, as if he sees it coming. Then ducks before the shoe is even thrown, same for the second shoe.

Where was Secret Service? Oh yeah, clear across the room where they couldn't get to Bush. The guy is then tackled by someone else, NOT secret service.

I am telling you all, it was a staged event. Had the guy really wanted to hurt our presidunce, he would have thrown more than a shoe. This was a staged event in order to gin up support, and sympathy for an outgoing president who "Did his best to free the people of Iraq."

How pathetic.
