I looked at the paracast wiki page, and it looks like Gene or someone close to the show edited it to make the info more accurate. I was truly shocked to see that it said David had a nervous breakdown and is currently undergoing treatment for heroin addiction.

I don't really believe it, but it might explain some things about David's anger during the final weeks.

No idea who is putting up that silly stuff.

I think you have the right to object and edit, Gene, you just need to contact the powers that be at Wiki.

That bit about David would be called slander, wouldn't it?

The piece about Coast to Coast as mentor, that is sheer idiocy.

I signed up, but the editing tools aren't letting me touch that content. Weird.

I did a small edit on the page...let's see if it stays off....

he paranormal field. Shows are recorded on a weekly basis.

This is the most recent copy at that page, so whatever you did must have worked. By the by, IP addresses are captured, so whomever put that stuff about the drug addiction had better be damned certain that they will not be sued, I doubt Wiki can say no to a warrant.

It's still incorrect. Strieber hasn't been on the show — at least not yet. We did 200 shows through March of 2010.

I can't say I am pleased just as a fan of thie show with how David handled this (not that he OWED me anything, but as someone who listened to a show he co-hosted for over 3 years I was disappointed to say the least, even more so when I heard his comments on his "other" show), but that is outrageous for someone to say that about him. I am glad it has been edited.

Well, I got a few changes to take, so it is more accurate — or was at the time of this writing. One hopes other eccentric changes won't find their way into that entry.

Dave has made his share of enemies., that's for sure. But he also has friends out here. "You have enemies ? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.".

I don't want this to descend into debates about David. The listing that was altered on Wikipedia was a sick joke. Let's move on.
