Definitely sounds like a hoax, with some details copied from Roswell e.g. crash and loud boom during a thunderstorm, a mark or trench on the ground. If it was real, why didn't we hear of it long ago? What was stopping those alleged witnesses? Btw, is the exact date indicated? If not, maybe it's because Hariss didn't research meteorological records well enough to make the story coincide with a thunderstorm. Also, why didn't the boys return for two days?

Paola, is not a trusted source for UFO information. But be interesting to hear what she claims she found. I tend to trust when the evidence is overwhelming, 'Actual materials taken from a UFO, what does that mean? If she has unknown metal with unknown symbols that would be something, if it only soil samples from a landing of UFO, well that is another thing as you know! The credibility of any UFO story does depend on the person or people telling the story. If physical evidence can prove a UFO story, that is something you have to pay attention to.

Military men arriving to "retrieve a weather balloon" is also copied from the Roswell account. Equally suspicious is "it was about this time that the boys went into the craft to pull off an aluminum bracket." Amazing that they were allowed to do this while the military was there...

They said they found "tiny fossils" in the aluminum part. Odd and hardly credible.
