So with Apple's new personal digital assistant, which debuted on the iPhone 4S, I asked "her" who killed President Kennedy?

Her response was to point me to a site naming Lee Harvey Oswald.

I asked if UFOs are real, and I was pointed to a Google page listing sources of such information.

Siri also calls me "UFO Man."

This sort of thing reminds me of the old Unix program Doctor which simulated a doctor asking you questions based on your answers to previous questions. It always had a rather predictable outcome but back in the 80s when a person first ran it, it appeared to be responding quasi-intelligently, up to a point that is and the joke was sprung.

I don't think he ended every diagnostic session with, "Have you tried masturbation?" and then accused the patient of being a liar if they said "no", but he was a quirky character though.

That makes me think of the Dr. Sbaitso that used to come with Soundblaster sound cards for PCs. I remember getting one for my 386 16MHz with 2MB of RAM and 50 MB HDD. That PC also had a 1x CD_ROM with a CD Caddy!
