Over the years I have heard a lot of weird stories and even saw a number of things that I simply cannot explain. However ... this almost takes the cake.

You may have seen this before, perhaps not but even so ... this bears watching again. As a former sworn law enforcement officer .. I tried thinking of how I would have explained this if it had happened to me. Okay, here you go ..

Ghost Car Video

well if you watch the timer when the car reappears it jumps from 35:35 to 36:43 then when he goes thru the fence i am pretty sure he just flattened the chain link down as he drove over it and then it sprung back up into place again.

without being there we cant examine the fence, but those posts look firmly in place. It's an intriguing clip.

yes the posts are firm. the clips/ties that hold the fence to the post are probably gone. having spent 20 years in and around construction sites where i often had to fence an area off, i can speak from experience. IF the fence is not secured to the posts you can probably drive right over the chain link fence and have it pop right back into place.... OR... this could be a ghost car.

If it is a ghost car, you'd think the ghost would have chosen a better getaway car than a late 80's-mid 90's sedan.

I was thinking along the same lines as Pixel...don't know if the chain link was secured to the posts; however wouldn't the fence itself sag just a bit, or still be vibrating if that were the case?

Do you think it might have went under the fence?? It seems to have a top to the chain link like some kind of fence pole running along the top. This would probably have been bent if the car went over, no??

Also I did see a part of a program that had this video in it. I can't remember the name of the show, but it's a TV show about strange (paranormal) videos where they try and duplicate the video if at all possible. They did a test where a vehicle did successfully run under a portion of chain link fence like this. The fence looked untouched and it was as Pixel described where the ties were absent along the fence poles. Doesn't mean that's what happened, but at least it was demonstrated that it was possible.

Has the clip been altered by any chance? However, it is spooky!

I am certainly NOT SUGGESTING that this demonstrates a paranormal event ... but you must admit ... it is weird! And I would have paid at least $5.00 US to see the looks on those pursing police officer faces when they reached the fence.

OK the show is called Fact or Faked.

I've linked 2 parts of the show that are relevant. The first video (part 3) shows the various experiments they do trying to replicate what is seen during the ghost car video. The second video (part4) very quickly shows the conclusion of the last experiment trying to go under the fence. So if you just want to kinda cut to the chase (no pun intended) and see their best shot at duplicating the "ghost car" going through the fence then just start watching part4.
