Is UFO/ET Disclosure Imminent?
By Ed Komarek 10/30/09 http://exopolitics.blogspot.com/

I have entered into a conversation with a person that claims to have close ties to a member of Congress well informed on UFO/ET. I am working with this person because I believe we need to develop a broad consensus with both politicians on both the left and the right on exopolitical issues as disclosure progresses. At present this individual wishes to remain anonymous because this individual wants to keep separate his-her personal ET related activities from the other political activities that he-she is involved in.

I have been communicating by phone and by email and this person tells me that this member of Congress is well informed on UFO/ET related matters and also that he is well connected to President Obama and meets with him frequently. This person asked me to suggest what this member of Congress might be able to do, to be helpful to myself and others pushing for disclosure. I sent the material in the following link as a letter to this member of Congress as part of my own very limited disclosure effort to show the middle ground between the left and the right.
Exopolitics: The Study of the Politics of Extraterrestrial Contact: Unity Between Left and Right

Last night I had a further phone conversation with my source and this source confirmed to me that indeed it may be a short time line to disclosure as Dr. Michael Salla has indicated in a recent communication linked further on in this article. My source says that they have real concerns that a disclosure announcement could torpedo the heath care bill if it happens sooner than later by distracting the public from this issue.

This source also told me that the UFO community should be aware that because of tight security in Washington, mail and briefing packages should be sent to offices of members of Congress in their home districts. This source says mail and packages are not getting through to member offices in Washington.

This political jockeying for position is beginning to remind me of typical herd behavior. When a herd of migrating wildebeest in Africa come to a river full of deadly crocodiles the leaders line up at the edge of the river reluctant to go into the crocodile infested river. What happens is that the rest of the herd pushes the leaders up against the river until the leaders either get pushed in or have to jump. Once this happens the leaders out of self preservation head to the other side as quickly as possible with the rest of the herd following close behind. :-)

I am aware of six different sustained civilian-government high level disclosure efforts lobbying for UFO/ET disclosure and would appreciate if any of my readers know of others to let me know. Here are the efforts I know about. 1. Steven Greer's Disclosure Project, The Disclosure Project - Home Page Clay and Shawn Pickering's Ad Hock Military UFO Working Group, Exopolitics: The Study of the Politics of Extraterrestrial Contact: Naval Officer Source Steven Basset's UFO/ET Lobbying, Exopolitics World Network Dan Smith's CIA R&D Disclosure Operation, Gordon Novel's Project RAM disclosure effort and now this.

What I seem to be hearing from the operations that I have some familiarity with is that there are positive developments and movement toward rapid disclosure at the highest levels with President Obama, Congress and the UN. http://www.examiner.com/x-2383-Honolulu-Exopolitics-Examiner~y2009m10d21-Official-disclosure-of-extraterrestrial-life-is-imminent# I have no real argument with Dr. Michael Salla on his perspective but I think the time line might be overly optimistic but my new sources seems to refute that. Obviously there is a lot going on behind the scenes as can be seen not only from Michael's and Greer's contacts but many other sources as well, including mine.

I stand to be corrected, but what seems to be holding things up a bit is that nobody wants to be blamed for igniting a truth conflagration that could rapidly get out of government and CIA control here in the United States and then extend to the rest of the world. Steven Greer and the Disclosure Project just made another big push to brief Obama. Obama and G-7 Head of State given UFO/ET briefing documents as disclosure information war escalates

I think the chances are good that the situation when ignited might well begin to spiral out of control at some point and then government officials and bureaucrats can and will become involved openly in an attempt to maintain order and stability in society. The indications seem to be that world governments really have no choice in this matter but to disclose rapidly once the cat is out of the bag, so to speak. Furthermore various extraterrestrial groups seem to be losing patience with government intransigence and broken promises the past sixty years and seem to be applying increasing pressure until something breaks loose.

Indications are that all parties both extraterrestrial and terrestrial agree that it is preferable that humanity handle the actual disclosure process even as the extraterrestrials increase the pressure on governments to disclose. Extraterrestrial groups seem to be doing this by increasing overt global public sighting activity even as they increase their covert disclosure lobbying efforts directed toward world governments.

My contention is that politicians and bureaucrats are going to need some cover in the initial ignition process and that is where we civilians are being a big help. It's up to us to push our leaders forward to cross the Rubicon into a post disclosure world. I and other pro-disclosure civilians don't have a problem with igniting and being blamed for a possible truth conflagration because we don't have political reputations to consider and we feel that continuing along the present destructive evolutionary path is not a option.

It may be that governments can mitigate and regulate the process unless and until their credibility on this issue is so debased that they can no longer regulate the disclosure process. Still, important politicians are beginning to take a stand worldwide and are even willing to risk their reputations pushing for disclosure. The latest courageous individual to speak out is Councilor Hicks. Councillor. Adrian Hicks This British politician discusses a six minute encounter with a human extraterrestrial on the streets of London.

Already Senator McCain Senator John McCain on UFOs and Dennis Kucinich http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2007/10/31/rep-dennis-kucinich-acknowledges-ufo-sighting/ have courageously made positive comments on UFOs to the press. We can assume that these politicians know much more about this subject than they are willing to publicly acknowledge and may even be covertly lobbying for disclosure in Congress.

Governments may be forced, "heaven forbid". to trust their respective public to exercise self restraint and thus allow the public to take back responsibility over their own affairs in this and other matters that has been denied them by their government and business elites. After all it was not the public that got us into this devolutionary predicament in the first place but it may have to be the public that has to clean up the mess post disclosure.

Why is always an anonymous source? Sorry, but I don't buy it. But in hypothetical case of disclosure, I'm sure that people wil take it with calm (at leat a vast majority of the world population).

Chris,

I hope you posted that here for entertainment value, because I seriously think it's a pile of horseshit. Komarek is a very nice, and highly delusional person, and his ramblings are one step shy of insane, IMO.

NO ONE KNOWS what the content of such a "disclosure" would contain. If all the humans on this planet suddenly find out that most of their dearest and closest-held belief systems - like religion - are a pile of crap, and that the Earth is actually a genetic bank, or worse, some sort of genetics lab gone nuts, I'll bet ya that there were be some serious unrest and social disorder. The folks who continually scream for "disclosure" don't seem to have given serious consideration to that what exactly the actual content truth that's being hidden might actually be... it might not match up to theor fantasies of such a disclosure.

I've talked at length with Ed Komarek, Steven Greer, Stephen Bassett and many other starry-eyed exopolitical true-believers and I've listened to their logic, their hopes, wishes, desires and bit my tongue at their many ridiculous predictions that invariably fall through. IMO: these people don't have a clue that they are in a forest, let alone stuck up a tree. They think they are on the right track, but wishful thinking can only help make you feel good—NOT make so-called "disclosure" happen. The last thing "our government" would ever do is admit #1 that aliens are real, #2 That they can prove this, and (of course) #3 that they have been lying to us for X # of years. I remember fondly in November 1993 when Steven Greer assured all of us attending a private mini-conference gathering dubbed "Crestone II" that government disclosure was going to happen in "90 days! ... I guarantee it!" (btw: Crestone #1, in 1989, was where John Leer first presented his now infamous "Leer Hypothesis"). Yeah, right Steven...

I hate to rain on parades—especially when the emperors are naked, but when will these disclosure buffs get that this WILL NEVER happen. Too many other issues would also have to be addressed, and this would be a slippery slope that would entail admitting institutional lying, the existence of exotic technologies, collusion with other private and governmental organizations and most importantly—if UFOs are truly otherworldly—a complete admission of their total lack of control over the UFO phenomenon. And the last thing a government like ours would admit is that they are NOT in control.

IMO the US Government certainly knows more than the JOE Q. Public about the phenomenon—this suggests to me that they are WAY MORE confused and in-the-dark and not happy about it! The floor is open—excuse me while I go duck and cover…

*climbing down off my soapbox to hide, smirk*

Has anyone considered the possibility that some of these disclosure proponents are intentionally making a mockery of the UFO topic on purpose?? This might, and seems to have, diverted any real consideration for the topic. It also makes the topic continue to look nonsensical and ridicule worthy. If the government really had something to hide, would it be in their best interest that the topic was shunned and viewed as delusional or fantasy?? In other words exactly what the disclosure people are making it??

I don't know to what extent that certain governmental entities would go to but we have seen disinformation before and I have to seriously wonder if this outlandish stuff would fit the mold.

I don't know if this is the case, but it might be IMO. It might also be that some of these people are merely, in fact, mentally deranged in some way. That seems just as plausible.

Politicians know less about this subject than ANYONE reading this post. You can bet the farm on that. As far as disclosure, it is hard to disclose what you don't know.
I just do not think any government has any more clue as to what these things "are", where they come from, or why they are here than any of us do. If any sort of mass disclosure type event is ever to happen it will be by the UFO's and their occupants schedule and design not a governments. And I wouldn't hold my breath for that. They seem content to observe and interact in quiet, out of the way, controlled settings.

I guess you could also make the case that Shermer, McGaha, and Oberg spew brainless debunking BS in order to satirically point out the folly of not taking the subject seriously. Not very likely but it kinda follows the same logic.

The biggest and dearest of all the belief systems, bigger than religion IMO, is faith that our government has our best interests at heart and that the government defines what is truth and what is false for the public. While it is true that most people will only believe what their government will tell them, that is the the most disturbing problem here. People should forget about what the government tells us regarding this and any other topic of importance because they (all parties in Wash DC) are more full of BS than all the anal cavities this side of the Mississippi.

Oh, bigger than that is the belief in the capatalistic system, despite being showcased as a disaster, everybody still loves the paper and the metal, and the paper and the electronic paper of these tokens called "dollars" as a reference say.

I'm actually amazed that what I'm reading here are Ed Komarek's words. These words seem considerably more subdued than the wild paranoid rants that used to spring from his keyboard back in the days when he was a member of the now defunct Operation Right to Know. He's also using bigger words. Perhaps he's been studying the dictionary.

Sorry, but peoples beliefs are always in question by other peoples, Theism has Atheism and viceversa. You have the debunkers, capitalism vs socialism, Mac vs Pc, etc. I don't think that the idea of "Aliens are here" so groundbreaking, so astounding. Maybe because...I'm part of the conspiracy, hehehe!

John McCAIN say what you like about man and least he answered a question honestly with no laughter and you can clearly hear laughter in the background from people when the question was asked.

Very intelligent politician/tactician ! Every vote counts !, The spectrum from right wing conservative evangelicals (aka Palin) to left wing cosmic consciousness wackos like me :D needs to be covered lol.

I'm sure he's observed the backlash Fyfe Symington got and didn't want a repeat ;)

But seriously... IMHO, as a naval aviator, I'd be suprised to discover that he's unfamiliar and has a closed-mind perspective with this subject. The event pile is stacking up against that idea.

Confirmation of that possibility could be interpreted to mean that we have no bearing on our destiny (earthlings suck butt).... or perhaps it would provoke a positive reaction and someone would seize the opportunity to raise humanity to higher levels ;)

I see it as the ultimate test of human willpower to go beyond what someone else has labelled us. Two choices, you either assume yourself as a legit life-form or you simply die off.

I can see where rigid belief systems can get crushed by such revelations, but the internet and modern communications is helping to melt the rigidity of hard-boiled cultures. A good example is the current culture clash between Islamic extremists and western values, hopefully we'll reach a humane equilibrium point where both point of views can co-exist ;)

Sometimes you have to wait until a previous hard-core generation dies off before new ideas are accepted (who said that again ?)

I agree that faith in "dollars" is right up there. However if you are referring to our economic collapse in the fall of 2008 I don't see how that is any different than faith in the government, call it whatever system you will. Paper dollars are legal tender because of government fiat. It wasn't capitalism that stole US citizen gold in the Great Depression or that enforces crackdowns on alternative mediums of exchange. All the major economies in the world were and are controlled by government owned or partnered central banks which now injected trillions to "save" the economy. Do you believe the economy has been saved after one positive GDP growth quarter? We had many of these during the Great Depression. These people who seek to save the economy are the same people who oversaw the bubble creation and demise. See Bernanke in the summer of 2008 who said all was clear & good. William K Black, top regulator at FHLBB during S&L crisis, said the current crisis is the biggest heist in history and the regulators were asleep at the switch. Hell the FBI reported to Congress in 2003 that derivatives were entirely overleveraged to the tune of a quadrillion dollars (many times world GDP). Congress did nothing. Madoff was part of the SEC board. Government was either turning a blind eye to problems, incompetent or part of creating the problem at every step. Change the subject from the economy to education, terrorism or drugs and the government is always at the root of the problem. Me thinks hoping for any government honesty on the subject of UFOs is nieve at best. Forget government and the mainstream press, they are dinosaurs and are dying because of their deception. We need to focus on building the media of the future. The media of the future will be messy - it ain't gonna be all roses and ponies but there will be a signal of truth in the noise - the Paracast is a great example of that. There's a lot more truth and analysis in one episode of Paracast than anything on the big 3 networks, and like other alternative media sources, people will gravitate to those altnerantive sources because of it. If a few mainstream news anchors have to go back to acting careers in the process - so be it.
