It doesn't really matter. We are given the illusion that our choices make a difference, but it's all a part of the grand illusion created by our Human Farmers.

Those are both very good points, the early chatter I'm hearing that both sides are ecstatic about the choice because it furthur polarizes both sides, increasing the gap between them. basically it's now a no brainer because you either love or hate either choice even more, not surprisingly common ground seems to be a lost concept
