Japanese finally admit that radiation leak is serious enough to kill people

Yeah another Meltdown thread but i thought it was significant enough to start a thread since the Japanese Gov now officially admit that radiation leak is serious enough to kill people. The nuclear plant chief WEPT after telling this information. Heartbreaking and completely enraging at the same time.

Well, what can one say...think of saying right away a meltdown is imminent., Tokyo and the other big cities around would have become a chaotic and uncontrollable mess right after...my hat is off to the guys still trying to 'control' it at the location...

It's hard to imagine how frightening it must be to be there right now. They say some radiation from it has already reached the west coast. I think the level of dignity and restraint that the Japanese people have shown is humbling.
