Yes, Oswald tried to fire the revolver in the theater, but was prevented by an arresting officer. Maybe I'm thinking about the mix of ammunition brands used. It's been so long since I've rummaged around in all of this.

I am interested in the planning stages and what evidence there is for that. I guess the idea is he read about it in the paper and then retrieved the "curtain rods" from the house where his wife was staying and winged it from there.
