Paranormal Adept
John Greenewald is a leading archivist and has many interesting insights. The interview went as well as could be expected given your political disagreements.

Got me thinking about a way to hide your technology... massive photon emission (light) so that no information about the configuration of the craft is decodable by us. The only thing retained is that the fighters were following some kind of mothership (big light) dispatching scouts (small lights) capable of disrupting antiquated technology with EMP ? (from their perspective of course). The pilots also had the privilege of observing the complex maneuvers of a light detaching from a bigger source of light that descended to ground level at an insane speed and leveled (from our perspective of course).

Reminds me of the movie 'Predator' where the alien used thermal scanners to track humans in a dense jungle. Perhaps the same technology that allows us to see the effect of magnetic fields and irruptions on the sun would have given the pilots a more detailed picture of what was really teasing us.

Without telescopes humans couldn't see channels on planet Mars. IMHO, we can't properly decode these intrusions until our tools can counter the intruder's strategies ;) ... High speed multispectral analyser for radar targets? Didn't have those in 1976.

Maybe advanced radar imaging ? Begs the question: If the event had taken place above NORAD command center (Cheyenne) in 2012 would we have disclosure ?

Just listened to the Greewald interview. It's a keeper and would love to have him back again.

Or maybe having precise control of local gravitational fields allows you to bend and warp light in ways that produce an image of almost anything. More is definitely going on than meets the eye.

If a guest shares a political opinion in the course of honestly answering a question based on opinion, I could do without the knee-jerk need to 'set the record straight' politically before moving on.

Still love the show, can't wait for the next one!

Edit to add: gosh my post sounds hostile. I don't mean it as an attack. I feel as though we chewed up valuable time that could have been used to discuss more of the excellent guest's knowledge. That's all. Peace.

Edited to remove needless finger-pointing & bickering

Like many others here I enjoyed the interview but could've done without all the politics, having said that, sometimes it comes up and in this case instead of shying away from the topic they chose to jump in on a couple of issues which doesn't really bother me that much. Still, I would've rather heard a lot more about UFO documents and things of that nature. Plus, there's always the chance you may alienate some of your more thin skinned listeners who just can't deal with people who don't hold the same political views that they do, you know the type. I did like John's take on 9/11, it was nice not to have to listen to the same ridiculous conspiracy theories for the umpteenth time. All in all, it was a good show in my opinion.

If a guest says something that does nothing but advance a political agenda, we reserve the right to set the record straight. People are entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.

Muadib, Bush said on two occasions that he WATCHED on TV the first plane crash into the north tower as he was walking into the classroom. Why did he lie....TWICE?

I this was an excellent show. No-one can argue with John on matters of FOIA documents; he really is the daddy!
I thought John's answers were thoughtful, honest and enlightening. He didn't waffle on needlessly or promote some personal agenda. His responses were measured and succinct- he was the perfect guest really.

Chris- thanks for asking some of my questions, it's nice for a listener to hear their own questions asked and it can make the person feel they are positively contributing to a show. If anyone reading this hasn't ever posted questions before, keep an eye out for the threads asking, and just go ahead and ask some! It might take a few go's before any are used but it doesn't cost any money and takes very little time = a large payoff compared to effort put in I would say!:)

I had heard of this Obama White House email that refers to the analysis of an object removed from a foot by Dr Roger Leir. The interest is because of the apparent complete lack of the body's immune response to this foreign object. Being able to mimic this with a variety of medical implants would have absolutely enormous positive implications in the field of human health. Quite often it is the body's immune response that causes complications and rejection of transplants etc. A successful way to prevent this would save countless lives and improve the health of countless more people. I would imagine there are pharmaceutical/medical technology companies desperately trying to achieve this aim as we speak.

I had totally forgotten about this so GOLD STAR to Ryan (RygyWa) for getting that one in!

He's a politician, that's what they do best. I'm sure he saw an opportunity to make some political hay and decided to wing it, or he was just confused. Either way, him lying doesn't prove anything other than the fact that he lied. It certainly doesn't prove that the government filled both buildings with bombs. I'm not interested in arguing 9/11 conspiracies with you Pixel, we know your mind is made up and nothing is going to change it. I meant what I said about Greenewald though, it gets old listening to the same old debunked 9/11 garbage from guests time after time, that's all.

Setting the record straight, according to who? You? Is this a show about the paranormal, or about politics? What makes you correct and your guest wrong?

He didn't answer questions to further a political agenda. He answered questions to the best of his ability. There is a big difference between providing an answer you don't agree with and providing a political hack answer.

Of course you can reserve any right you guys want; it's your show. In addition, you can continue to alienate 50% of your potential listening audience. It's not a matter of politics, it's a matter of common business sense. I don't advocate ANY political view on your show. I'm suggesting you remain agnostic.

Whatever your views are, I still support and recommend your show every chance I get.

I repeat what I said: It's about facts, not opinions, which are a dime a dozen. There's far too much BS about Benghazi, which was a sad and unfortunate episode. It's unfortunate that one side of the argument made up stories, while the other side screwed up in not providing requested protection to the diplomat when it was requested (for whatever reason). A pox on both their houses.

He raised the issue originally on the show. But when it comes to issues of secrecy and disclosure, yes, it's all about politics. And don't forget the conspiracy theories about JFK, 9/11, etc.

Okay, fair point. I see where you're coming from.

No matter what our differing opinions, I remain a loyal listener and appreciate your willingness to engage people on your forums. Thank you for talking with me.

Just listened to this awesome show last night. I was thrilled to have my questions answered directly by someone as in the FOIA research based know as is John Greenewald Jr. Wow! The thing that pulled me in long prior to the forum community based question and answer segment was what I perceived to be John's genuine, sharp, and enthusiastic persona related to his interest in the paranormal. The guy was just spot on "real" and sincerely a pleasure to listen to and learn from. I was overwhelmed by the sense that yet here again was a guy more so enthralled in a true labor of love rather than one that would serve his personal agenda to seek fame or fortune. We all had a good laugh over that notion eh? I really didn't mind the political bits. I even appreciated the transported "feeling" of being there with respect for the juxtaposed passions coming from all parties involved. Thanks Gene and Chris, for yet another amazing show!

Excellent show. It's been a long time since I checked out the Black Vault, so I went to check it out. I was going to join, but then I read the TOS and decided not to. Merely accessing the website makes you liable ( at the discretion of the owners ) for user fees and legal fees arising from third parties who you may not even know. Sorry but I'm not agreeing to pay anyone's legal bills just to be allowed to contribute or access content. If anything, forums should be making everyone agree not to get involved in any legal disputes at all, and if any indemnification should be in place, it should be for the protection of both the operators and the members, particularly those who take the time to contribute content. Making members liable for user fees and legal fees is total weaseling ... but again ... excellent show.

To me he sounded bored and uninterested in talking ufology. I actually find his early interviews much more interesting. These days he seems tired and cynical.
