While we did cover UFO photos and videos, the most fascinating parts of this episode covered exoplanets, space travel, warp drive and other topics.

Just consider the concepts for the 23rd century presented on "Star Trek: The Original Series" and how some of them have come to pass, such as the clamshell cell phone, and others are actually under development.

Marc D’Antonio was an excellent guest and the main show was a pleasure to listen to. I really enjoyed him and his stories. His "alien implant" story was fascinating. I was simply astounded that after waking up with that much pain and his head resting on a blood-soaked pillow that it took him TWO YEARS to go see a doctor! Unreal! Another detail that I found curiously interesting is when Marc mentioned the "being" with the glow-tipped wand being used on him while he was literally paralyzed in his bed. If memory serves, didn't Chris have a similar encounter as a child with a being in his bedroom that was carrying a glow-tipped wand? I was surprised he didn't mention that during Marc's recounting of his experience. Although I could be remembering it wrong.

On a separate note, I have to disagree with Existential about the ATP episode. Briefly touching on politics is fine but to have a significant portion of an ATP episode (yet again) consist of the hosts engaging in stream-of-consciousness political ramblings has nothing to do with the paranormal and is not what I'm looking for when listening to a paranormal podcast. Too many ATP episodes devolve into inane political banter. That is not why I'm a paying subscriber. If a greater effort isn't going to be made to elevate the content and quality of discourse during ATP episodes then I don't know what value it has (for me) as a paying subscriber going forward. I provide this honest personal feedback simply as constructive criticism and as someone who will (and does) happily pay for quality content. This is not intended to be mean-spirited in any way, I'm just respectfully sharing my opinion as a longtime listener, as I generally agree with the hosts' political leanings as frequently expressed on the program. It's just not the kind of content I come here for. A little goes a long way.

It was about how major political events may combine to precipitate a rash of paranormal and UFO events. How is that not relevant? How is that "inane political banter"?

With all due respect, horseshit. I strongly urge you to re-listen to the ATP episode, as I just did, so I could emphasize my point and refute your erroneous response. Roughly the first 8 minutes, yes, the shaky premise of political/paranormal connections was discussed. The Trickster! The next 22 minutes or so? Pure Political Palaver, with a little "media consolidation rant" and "NPR sucks now" thrown in for good measure. True? Perhaps. Paranormal-related? Absolutely not. Closing out the last 60 seconds of the show with a brief "trickster" comment from Chris does not salvage the previous 20+ minutes of dross. You can do better. Subscribers expect more.

It is about both. We cover the political situation, the fake premise of a liberal media and the fact that half a dozen companies control most of the American media. This reflects on the accuracy of coverage not just for politics, but the world of finance, crime, educational, sports, and the reporting of paranormal events. Most of the small companies who ran local newspapers, and radio and TV stations sold them off to huge conglomerates, faceless corporations. The best you can get in coverage of UFOs and other paranormal events is the bad reality show. It's a consequence of the concentrated media that led to the rise of Donald Trump, a reality TV star.

I do not believe that you can separate the media, politics, and the world of the paranormal. They don't live in exclusion.

People should be able to hear others' political opinions without getting upset. Should..
How reactive one becomes when faced with disparate views shows how tough or sensitive one really is.
I like hearing Gene talk about current events as he is an interesting person and an enjoyable host to listen to.

I loved the show! I appreciate Marc's sense of humor (although I do have that silly song "Yellow Polka Dot Bakini" stuck in my head now..) this is the best interview I've heard him participate in. I'm so glad Chris didn't let the implant conversation slide unnoticed, that was awesome revelations.

Yep, one of my favorite episodes. Keep up the great work guys.;)

Also, Maurispala, what's this supposed to be a video of? A light in the sky or something on top of a house? Just curious.
