Paranormally Disenchanted
Here is a fascinating Kevin Smith show. Remote viewers explore a martian base. I have a real hard time with the whole remote viewing business I admit, but I find it interesting listening nonetheless.

Hey Trained if Courtney Brown is claiming RV stuff again you'll love this clip of him on Art Bell

He claims an accuracy rate of above 85%, but that's not the funny or SAD part
he's the guy who said he and his team viewed an object with comet HALE BOPP.
Listen to the clip, its bad quality but you can understand it.
It's 4 times the size of earth and has a sentience to it he claimed.

Art Bell + Courtney Brown + Heavens Gate = SAD

Him talking about his DVD half way through the interview! Thats were ended it for me in believing any of this is true.

Oh good gravy y'all. :p I (as I've said again and again.) ;) honestly give creedence to the spiritual evolution of people. But, the first time I came across Courney Brown my B.S. radar went into overdrive. Oh well, I guess for every Ingo Swann you have to have an Ed Dames.

Thanks for that Ward! Yes and if you remember Whitley Strieber was neck deep in the whole HALE BOPP mess as well.

It is amazing to realize that the HALE BOPP pattern was recently repeated by Hoagland not that long ago. Since then Hoagland has been pretty quite.

Does anyone else find Brown's jargon, in particular his use of the word frequency to be a bit pseudo-scientific? Except for a brief mention of the electromagnetic spectrum he makes no attempt at describing what the wave medium is that make up his frequencies. The wave medium is the real thing, a wave is an event that occurs to it, and a frequency is the time interval between those events. He seems to be saying that all of reality is a modulation of the electromagnetic medium where reality is the result of a signal or a reflection of a signal acting on a universal medium in effect rendering reality from the wave medium. I'm I interpreting that right? Am I trying too hard to make sense of this stuff?

Every time I hear someone talk about Remote Viewing at some point something gets said that make alarms go off. That said, although my skepticism runs pretty high, I thought Ingo Swann's Penetration was a great read and would make a fantastic mini-series or a movie.

You know it really begs the question, " How many RV schools and gurus are there out there and do any of them not have some incredibly ridiculous prediction or whatever credited to them?"

I read this guy's book, in it he claims to have successfully remote viewed God, Jesus and Buddha. He also claims to have been allowed by aliens to view abductions in progress. Not to mention the bunches of Martians that are now living right alongside us here on the planet Earth.

I view shows like this just like I do the Mystic Barber material or even the Francis E. Dec rants for example. It is interesting from not only the fantastic tale being told and the personality telling it, but also from the standpoint of how these themes and memes keep showing up in cycles where they get dusted off and reemerge from time to time. Perhaps it is the result of something like the 36 dramatic situations from which all human drama is constructed as put forth in Georges Polti's The Thirty-Six Dramatic Situations . The limitation guarantees that plot elements and major themes repeat over time no matter who is constructing the story.

Holy S*** my meter is going off the chart .. Take a look!
