That just HAS to be a joke. WOW!

I have wondered why all these peeps who say they are consistently abducted don't setup cameras and other security measures to catch them in the act. I assume it is because they are full of it.

I'm one of them, Miah. So, thanks. :)

Security measures don't work. Advanced beings and all, they've figured out our Radio Shack equipment. Plus it's not like I've got their schedule lying around.

I find that difficult to accept, Jeremy. Not saying you're lying or anything but there has to be SOMETHING you can do. You just need to go all CSI on these guys, infra-red scanners, ultraviolet powder, etc..

I sent that site into Watchdog, and Royce posted it on his news page awhile back. They have a new model. It used to be an old man. Nm, I see the old man after scrolling down a little.

Camcorders seem to lessen abductions. Generally speaking.

Rumor has it that radars can interfere with some UFO systems. Is it true? I haven't the faintest idea. But perhaps abductees should obtain a machine that can simulate the effects of radar waves. Say, a radar wave generator operating in your bedroom at night which shoots waves in all directions simultaneously for several miles around your house. This may do some good, no?

Some think radar was the cause of the Roswell crash. It's true some people think that, though can't say it's true. I have heavy doubts about it, since there are cases where they show up on radar without a crash and boom.

So you're saying that an advanced being that can control space/time in ways we haven't figured out cannot find the "off" switch on a camera?

We're talking about beings that shut down nuclear missiles for shits and giggles.

No offense, but every "abductee" I have spoken to about trying to bust 'them' say the same BS about how it won't work, but they never REALLY tried it. That is quite suspect. Have you?

There are great cameras that you can hide in anything that are triggered by motion if needed. And if one was run every night all night to a remote PC hard drive, you would know something happened even if the camera just went blank for a bit. And if that happened, you would rearrange, and try something else, like cameras all over the premesis.

If I truly believed that I was being abducted, you can bet every penney of my money would be spent in busting them in the act and letting the world know.

I think the idea is that early radar systems were rather crude, by modern standards, and that some of them emitted electromagnetic waves, powerful enough to kill birds in mid-air.

The negative attacks here can be reduced to two simple declarative assertions: Those who claim to have been "abducted" by so called "aliens" are either liars or mentally unstable.
In this case, my deepest desire is that those who offer these unsubstantiated, cruel and unreasoning opinions should have an abduction encounter themselves. There's no better cure for vicariously derived pseudo-knowledge than the reality of experiencing a thing for yourself.
The one problem arising from that solution is that anyone entitled to offer a viable opinion on the matter doesn't know quite what to make of it. Defining abductions as nothing more than acts of gourd headed space brothers kidnapping humans for scientific study just doesn't pass muster any more. I don't believe it ever did.

I don't think anyone here said that all abductees are liars or insane.

But I personally have a problem with anyone who makes these outrageous claims without proof and will give you all the reasons in the world why not to try to do anything about it. That is disingenuous.

I also hate how so many of these abductees are also way out their in their views in general, most of them are fruity and not especially intelligent. I also despise how they talk as though they are in some special "I was abducted" club, as if anyone else has not right to talk about the subject.

No, what I'm saying is if you really wanted to get some evidence you might come up with something a little more intricate than sticking a camcorder in your bedroom and hitting the red button. While I may have to accept the idea that you can't "outsmart" these guys, I refuse to accept some assumed nigh-omnipotence as an excuse not to try. For instance, do they walk? I would assume if they walk they have feet and feet leave footprints, so maybe sprinkle powder on the bedroom floor and check it out the next day if you have an experience? Unless the UFO has a standard issue dustbuster...

Valiens.
Have you made any attempts at gaining evidence in the manner that these fellows such as capng and miah have stated or any other methods for that matter?
I am not questioning your experience, at all, as i think since none other of us seemed to have had an experience like yours it would be hard to comment on it.

I just think you're an ignorant fuckin jerk who hasn't bothered to look at data collected by alot of researchers over the years. People with the experience tend to have average to above average IQs, and come from every walk of life (not just the fruity ones). If we're "way out in our views", then you're just as way out...you're here spewing crap you have no idea about and haven't bothered to even look. (thats glaringly obvious)

I don't personally know anyone who acts like it's a special club, but for me it's the exact opposite. I didn't ask for it, I didn't want it, and there's sure nothing special about me. I'm confident there's plenty more who feel like I do, because I've actually spoken to them.

Every facet of this subject has it's lunatics, I'll thank you to kindly not lump us all together.

If you wanted a reaction, you got it. Now go do some actual reading on the subject so you sound like someone with a brain.
