Linda Godfrey

Free episodes:

Had a good time with this show Gene and Chris nice Halloween treat.

As for the Dancing Merengue Dog Linda mentioned on the show see how long this dog stands on its hind legs, pretty impressive ;

Wow! What is about this episode that it yields barely any discussion? Was it too straightforward.? Uncontroversial? Compare this one to some of the other recent shows.

I have been wondering about that too. Really liked the show. It was very interesting to hear about Linda's early experiences with the topic and how she got started. The similarities to the way Chris got involved in his research are remarkable, and I think it's the kind of thing that speaks well of the researcher. Following the phenomena with an open mind is as important as it is rare, unfortunately, in the paranormal fields. The reports Linda feels are good ones come from solid citizens with nothing to gain from telling wild tales. These are not flakes, drunks, people known for "telling stories" or any of that. Real journalism is an excellent model for investigations of this kind, but real journalism is getting harder to find and most people don't seem to have a clue about how it works to begin with. I had some very minimal training in that field, and it's painfully obvious to me that real journalists are getting scarce.

The topic, intelligent menacing bipedal canines, is pretty far out there. I'm particularly intrigued by the local history connections in a lot of the reports. I think that's an important thing to pursue. Finding out about what might be behind those obvious connections might just tell us something very important. Maybe we can explore that here. I'm surprised there isn't a lot of childish BS written about Linda and her work, so maybe we could get something accomplished before the idjits show up with their smelly nonsense. Just a thought.
