Linus Pauling - Ufo Investigator

Really interesting article on the The UFO Iconoclast blog (http://ufocon.blogspot.com). Apparently, Linus Pauling (twice Nobel Laureate and one of the 20th century's great minds) was on the quiet researching UFOs.

Yep you do. And its yet another nail in the coffin for those pesky "skeptics". But I'm sure they'll come up with a reason for Pauling being interested in the subject. Probably would say that he was suffering from hallucinations caused by fumes from all the chemicals he encountered over the years ... or something probably even less plausible .

Hey Slightly Older Person, it is always good to see a well respected person willing to cut through the "smoke screens" and diversions put up by those who want you to remain ignorant and pursue their own path. However, the smoke screens can be complex and deceiving in that they can show you what you want to see...just to keep you happy and away from the real stuff....

Now where was I? Oh yeah.

Its a pity that people like Pauling who are interested and are investigating the ufo subject cannot come out of the ufo closet since if they do the mass media (or scum as I like to call them) will jump on them and ridicule them mercilessly.

Still it still gives us another arrow for our armoury. Now if you're confronted by a "normal" person questioning you for being interested in such a subject, you can thrown Linus Pauling in their face and state boldly that if someone of the intellect of Pauling is into the subject then you can't be a total fruitcake after all .
