Well this is not normal for where I live.

Tornados in Canterbury

Tornado throws silage truck

Now we have been known to have the odd twister here but never more than one a season (even then that is more than we get) we most certainly do not get that many in one day.

The climate around here has changed for sure, just ask any grower who keeps logs of weather and rain fall etc they can tell you it has. It has got warmer in summer and colder in winter.. very much extremes and the storms are very violent (really much more so then they used to be).

Below are some photos of the different ones that came through.

I was driving home when the storm hit, some of the hail were golf ball sized if not bigger and thought the windscreen was going to shatter .. intense.
