Do you know how hard it is to live for 16 years with people questioning your honesty, integrity and sanity? i have met someone now whom I would like to be with. But am certain that as soon as he sees this site and others, he will run like the wind. And who could balme him!! My advice to anyone who goes through an experience like this: keep it to yourself. Don't try to save the world...it doesn't want saving!"
I hope you are indeed, Kelly Cahill. If so, I also hope this finds you well. As for your new interest, rather than wait until he finds out, it is your duty to him to be up front with your experience. Your recent reappearance (again, if it is you) demonstrates that once you've been engaged -and- remember it, your path is forever changed. It's the way it is...you didn't choose it so why force the same on someone you care about down the road?
Not trying to lecture here. Let's just say others have made the same mistake. As for "saving the world", or for that matter, using your experience as demonstrative that it was "real" or that aliens "exist"...both are what I've considered trials that most have to go through themselves. Not much else to do. You -seem- to be much stronger for it, having come out the other side. I'm the first to admit I may be wrong, but I doubt it.
That said, I would be interested to here from your perspective, what it was about your experience that you felt the world had to hear in order to "save" it? I'd love to buy your book, but it's rare and damned expensive.

Hi Kelly, assuming this really is you, it's great to have you on the boards. Thanks for stopping by. I expect there are going to be a lot of questions for you and I really hope you check back now and then and if you feel like it try answering at least a few of them as best you can- though I understand if you prefer not to dive in. I think many of us find your case fascinating. By the way, I think you'd make a great guest for the Paracast! Anyway, it's great to hear that you seemed to have moved on and found happiness.

I have not been involved in the UFO scene for years now, just trying to get on with a normal life as best I can. But it always comes back to haunt me. I often regret opening my big mouth years ago, but I was a girl on a mission. Now that I know the repercussions in my life, I rather wish I had not been so outspoken. But I guess there is no hiding from it eh? Regards Kelly
