I heard this on a radio talkshow this afternoon, and had planned to search out the video. Thanks bunches for posting it and saving me the work.
I can hardly wait to see what the makeup artists and hair stylists do for her, too!
What a voice, what a huge pile of courage to stand up and be seen all over the world like that when you know you don't fit the 'image'.
She is like Canada's Rita McNeil, an angel's voice in a homely outside, and when she sings, you don't think of anything but the voice.
I think the way she walked off, she had convinced herself she was not going to get accepted, I am so happy she was wrong.
