Thanks. I posted that vid a long time ago. I knew it was bs, but didn't have the details.


Don't know why marketing is plagued with the notion that if they piss people off, it's good for business. I at least make sure not to make purchases from people who con, scam, lie, and hoax. Even if they were to have a good product/service.

Yeah, I figured someone may have posted it in the past, couldn't find it searching the forum, didn't mean to re-post. Followed your George Carlin link the other day......I think it lit a fire under my ass! I've been really fired up about ignorance and injustice and how backwards our society really is. These marketing scams REALLY PISS ME OFF! Why don't large corporations fund research into the phenomenon? Give prestigious grants to people making films about it,(ie, James Fox, Paul Kimball) or for that matter, guys doing a podcast about it!

(consequently Gene or Dave, how do I get a super-angry out -of-control smiley icon?)

The funding idea is great in a more evolved world, but many haven't thought of it, or fear ridicule among other things.
