UFO investigator Chase Kloetzke has solid and proven credentials. In this episode she talks about an amazing UFO encounter, which included possible electromagnetic effects and the appearance of a possible UFO entity. It's a fascinating journey, and we hope you'll enjoy it.

Still I had a few probing questions about MUFON's research methods and its lack of progress.

We continue this discussion on this week's episode of After The Paracast, and exclusive feature of The Paracast+: Introducing The Paracast+ | The Paracast — The Gold Standard of Paranormal Radio

I've been listening to this program on my desktop computer on iTunes. It literally shuts down every time it goes to a break or comes back from a break. The whole connection is lost. Anyone else have this happen, or is it just me? Really enjoying what she had to say.

When you get the file from iTunes, it's not streaming. You should be downloading the entire file (and we test the downloads), so I don't see why it should be stopping. Anyone else?

Interesting. I didn't download, at all. I just clicked the play arrow on the left so I could listen while I work. Anyway, I'm nearly finished and it's an great interview. Thanks for having her.

She said later on in the episode, in response to my question, that the photos didn't show anything but lights. But I alerted her to check these forums, so if she has any followup information, she can post it here, along with links to the photos if available.

You're probably getting it via iCloud, then, and that's Apple's playground.

Our server logs show heavy download traffic, but the system is otherwise under a fairly light load. So there shouldn't be any problems.

I'm loving this episode. I just looked up Chase on Youtube and she is a very glamorous grandma - Chris was right saying she didn't look old enough and I also laughed out loud at Chase's answer to that problem. She is an intelligent and extremely likeable person. She certainly puts a great face on MUFON and they are lucky to have her as an investigator. Sounds like she has had some amazing experiences too.

The cheerful attitude extends to an email I received from her in response to a routine notice that the download file was up, along with a link.

Excellent episode.Chase's thoughts that the triangle and alien entity might be disinformation fascinates me.What do our hosts and other forum members think is the goal of disinformation?,other than covering up secret technology. I'm at a loss to see why they do this as I feel it creates extra attention and encourages more people to investigate.

It's probably got more than one purpose. Throwing out a red herring will keep people busy and off the track of the truth, and it also gives them the ability to test new technologies. If people are all out chasing UFOs and little gray men, they aren't paying so much attention to what the government or military industrial complex is up to. I used to believe a lot of what I heard because it would never have occurred to me that people or government officials would have any reason to lie. However, after numerous 'informants' have been caught in their lies and exposed, I now tend to assume that nothing is true unless it is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. But it is still fun to consider the possibilities.

Anyone remember the 2008 saga of “Oregon Bob” with Jamie McDowell of the now defunct Vertical Studios? For those who know the case intimately will find this week’s guest alleged account eerily similar to that of Jamie McDowell's alleged primary experience.

I agree, Goggs. It's an excellent episode, and she's been one of my favorite guests so far. I too was surprise to find out she was a grandma!

Not trying to be too p.c but how someone looks is irrelevant. This lady does a great job and gave a very enjoyable and interesting listen. If we want to encourage more female participants in this field and in this forum I'm not sure checking out web pages and commenting on their looks is the way forward.

1) Too bad we didn't get an answer about what happened to her investigator partner since the TN sighting. Yes, we know she soon left MUFON, dramatically cut lifetime ties and moved away, but someone should try to find-out if she is ok now and why that happened. It's been years...

2) Chris, you seemed to have Chase's investigation book, so how much emphasis was placed on gathering details about the witnesses [background, stress, psychological issues, medical, etc.] and long term follow-up?

If critical information is missing and not being recorded with little follow-up long term, then how does anyone expect MUFON to solve anything or be taken seriously? Is it just an intelligence gathering "front" to simply gather reports and solve nothing except for top secret intelligence purposes? Isn't that all it does do besides promoting UFO ideology?

Is MUFON a Honey Pot with many sincere believers but no real solutions to solve anything? It's really just a reporting effort, and to provide PR and funding for the UFO to sustain that very limited purpose to gather intelligence. Hanger One is a prime PR example to sustain the mystery and maintain attention.

First of all, my apologies for giving the wrong impression with my comment. That is not what I intended. I did go to her site, but it was to check up on her background, articles, conferences, and investigations, as I do with any guest of The Paracast that piques my interest, regardless of their looks. She's an impressive woman, and I applaud her brilliance and hard work. And I love the fact more females are going into the field.

By the way, I was also fascinated by Micah Hank's excellent article on the 'Star Skull.' I was just surprised, as was the hosts of the show, to learn that she was a grandmother. She did not look old enough, to me, to fit the stereotypical image of a grandmother. That's all. I meant this purely as a compliment.

Also, what I meant by 'Awesome Grandma' was not based on her looks, but the fact that her grandchildren are so interested in these fields, and how she includes them. For example, she mentioned bringing back souvenirs for them from her investigations. It was touching, and as a parent myself, I just think she is really cool grandmother.

So again, I apologize for any misgivings for my previous statement. As being a new forum member, I really don't want to start off on the wrong foot by giving any wrong impressions.

No problem I didn't think for one minute that you were being inappropriate I just know that my own partner was reading the forum and she won't engage more in the subject because she sees an old boys club.(She had a frustrating time with a golf society).Sorry if I came across a bit heavy, shouldn't post when I've been on the go for 26 hours.
