I haven't had a chance to read this whole thread and I typically don't pay alot of attention to all the curiosities people find on mars; however, this one is interesting. I believe there is a link to the NASA original. Doesn't look like a natural formation to me.

The ATS thread links to some arizona.edu images that purport to reveal this "block", however I can't find the block in the image.

If somebody can direct me to an official photo that shows the "block", I'd be grateful.

On the ats thread some one said its at x8979 y15327 but its actually at 14110 y17692. I dunno it looks like a rectangle what more can anyone say. If someone says it HAS to be a building I'm gonna go to Mars get the rectangle and drop it on their legs. Maybe its a trick on light and shadow? If it were a building it would be about the size of my garden shed 2.4 m x 4.5 m. HEY! Maybe its a martian garden shed! Perhaps thats where they keep the hose! You know, where the water comes from?

I'm just disillousioned and hungry...

Yeah, I got the same thing when I tried to follow the thread on ATS about this.
This is that image
I would really like to see the original image.

I think we should make a new rule about posting Mars images. If you are going to post the image, make sure you also post a link to the official NASA raw image you got it from and tell us roughly where on that image the blown up portion is. Man, that would really speed things up.

With that said, I would like to figure out how large this object is and if it is truely anomolous for the area. All in all, so far it is compelling. At least to the untrained eye like me.

Gawd, I spent an hour trying to find that stupid block on that image using the JPL-hosted images. Finally, I found it. ( I needed to download the ITT Tech JAVA viewer. Duh.)

In the "real" JPL image it doesn't look anywhere as impressive. In fact, it looks like a flat rock.

It's possible we may one day find solid evidence of some past civilization on Mars, but alas this is not it.

At least it seems everyone is equal in their level of frustration when it comes to Mars anomalies. Therefore, I declare case closed! My garden shed exists on Mars! And don't you DEBUNKERS tell me that it doesn't because I BELIEVE it to be so!

I also believe in houing for the homeless, food for the starving, equal rights, gay rights, racial equality and benevolent government. Good thing I do all this believing...
