Listening to Curt Sutherly relating the Kenneth Arnold story and the way in which Arnold's life was subsequently affected by one encounter lasting minutes, has me re-thinking the meaning of the term "ufo sighting".

A very short and incomplete list of witnesses whose lives have been altered by one encounter with ufos:
