The mighty Tiger Tank.


Preemptive, I'm german and as far from national socialism as you can get, but I lost a lot of relatives in that war, and the tank was a beast.
 
Military history means learning from mistakes of the use of war and peace is better option but we can not change history but learn from it we hope:) We all lost through the horrors of war over the centuries. The Tiger Tank was a marvel in technology which many feared indeed. There is a fully operational one at a British Military Museum which was on a documentary a few weeks ago I try chase it up as they gave a excellent background on the Tiger Tank engineering makeup .

I believe, we have a choice to go to war, but I have often wondered was there many different species of humanoids, not just one group, and we do not all originate from just one common ancestor in the past?

I have discussed this before, but there does seem to be real differences, in how some of us view the world, i can't see how your lifestyle upbringing education were you live would account for lot of those differences, there is something there I believe. People call it personality at times, everyone is different ya to a point, but there does seem to be people like on here for instance, never met them! but on a broad range range of different topics we can agree, then next person I Would disagree with majority of what that person has just said!

If we are so like all of us humans why is there so many diifferences between one person and another, how can the human brain, be the same for everyone, if the thoughts are so different? It really strange to me, even war is not universally accepted by every human, personally i love watching war movies, but there heck of lot of people who can stand history, even though they are part of history and living it, and some just hate the idea man has killed man all the way down. it just a puzzle for me at least why if we came from one ape-like beast so to speak hundreds of thousands of years ago, there seems to be branches that get along and there branches who can't get along, and then you have other branches in the middle are neutral about stuff like war. Maybe nothing of what I am writing makes sense just the ramblings of 33 year old Irish dude?

Not to speak for him, but I believe he means a section were people can discuss the topic of war battles won and the defeat of one army over another, the technologies used by countries to achieve victory, tanks used, the guns and aircraft used, stuff like that. He can correct me if I am wrong on that?

Yes (Section thread where people can discuss about Historical Military Battles Past or Current , Military Technology Equipment (Planes, Guns, Tanks, Satellites , Enigma, Space) instead posting in paranormal threads. I love military history especially anything about WWII or ancient wars. Makes you wonder what humans are capable of.

On another note I was watching a show about US Special Forces the other day - oh man, those guys must be made of steel. I don't see how any normal human can go through this training and survive.
