think they were using blanks for demonstrative purposes?

This looks a little CGI to me, too--and it does sound like a pulsed engine to me, too--and not an internal combustion one, if the footage is to be considered real.

I don't know that they could get one in anything that small. And, yeah, the bullet holes are totally fake. Right?

I really would like a DB opinion here; sorry, David to be calling on you for your professional opinion so much without paying you... but, presumably, that's why we love you so much even though iTunes rates you so poorly. What's up with that, anyway? 'Fuckin' tards.

There is nothing new to this "toy". It's been around for a long time, since the Reagan "Star Wars" era. I've seen similiar footage of similar devices many years ago.

It's not CGI. It's not an pulse engine. It's just mini rocket thrusters firing in pulses for stabilization. A true pulse engine (like the Nazi buzz bombs) works in the atmosphere and sounds nothing like this. I've seen and heard a pulse engine live during the days in SF when they had Robot Wars.

Leave it to YouTube to make something old new again.
