There are millions of people (several of them here) who still think we are all going to die from human caused cooling, warming, climate change, climate disruption, or whatever these EcoNuts are calling it now.

Yep, the truth about this subject is starting to get out there now. Not only has the Earth been warming up, all of the planets in our solar system have been. We couldn't have possibly caused that. Variations in the temperature of the sun are likely responsible for the majority of this. Now the other side is predicting not global warming, but global cooling. Time will tell if they are right or not but I suspect they're on to something big. I am convinced that humanity does contribute to climate change but almost certainly not to the degree that guys like Al Gore claim (And as everyone remembers, that side of the argument got caught in a huge scandal not too long ago where they were deliberately altering and omitting data). Much of this global warming stuff has had more to do with political ideologies than with science.

no doubt humans have a minimal effect on the environment. your body emits heat, methane and CO2. industry pollutes water, land and air. BUT the earth itself is the major contributor to poisonous emissions and it wont be long before we experience ANOTHER massive methane/sulfer blast that may wipe out nearly all life forms on the planet once AGAIN.
