MonsterQuest | Stalin's Ape Man

Free episodes:

haha, ive been teasing soldiers at the military times forums with this for years, hybrid soldiers , legally nonhuman (like the enlisted bomb sniffer dogs) and therefore expendable in favour of true human stock soldiers who will be phased out in favour of the cheaper unit (no need for M.A.S.H units, just destroy wounded as you go)

the technology of stalins time was nothing like what we have now, chimera's are everywhere now.
for the same reasons we create them for medicine, we could create them for combat.

i watched my planet of the apes dvd's the other day in memory of Mr Heston, and i have to say knowing about todays technology and chimera research the plots premise was more plausible this time than when i first saw it.

This is quite preposterous in my opinion. I have read countless books on Stalin and even visited his House which is now a shrine in Gori republic of Georgia and i have never heard of this at all.

Sure there may have been the odd Scientist interested in this kind of thing but i doubt it ever got past the theory stage.

Anyhow it would be more believable if it was a small Country that was lacking in a large population and they needed soldiers but not Russia considering the size of her population. During the time of Stalin Men were more expendable than Bullets manpower was not a thing Russia lacked so why go to these lengths ?

I find it more interesting that Stalin wanted to know exactly what happened at Roswell.

The show concludes Stalin wasn't involved in creating ape human hybrids. Watch the end:)

Ever since this originally aired I have been trying to find something I read a few years ago about a Japanese actress offering to mate with a gorilla or chimpanzee as a test of her abilities as an actress... Anyone ever come across this? It was in the late 80s or early 90s (I think).

Yep. Wasn't it Oliver she was to mate with? Think I posted the documentary somewhere here.
