Friday Aug. 19th Rich Sarradet and I went to the AMC Theater in Burbank and watched Conan the Barbarian. This was something we had planned to do this week and I really had been looking forward to it. During the trailor's just before the movie they ran one for a new film that will hit the theater's on Sept. 2, Apollo 18. Hey, having just completed the Moon show here on The Paracast, I found that a bit weird.

So, this morning I was doing a bit of surfing on the web and came across a bunch of stuff that I had encountered several years ago when I was doing all that grunt work for Kiviat when we were trying to get something off the ground to produce a Moon special on phenomena. For example, here is something from You Tube that you may have seen or heard of in the past.
That vid was supposedly from the covert mission Apollo 20 that took place in the 70's, and while it was interesting ... I am almost 100% positive it is total crap, like most of what is up on You Tube. This new film from the Weinstein group is being touted as "found footage" and is once again, in my opinion, total crap. So, why am I mentioning it now? Well, in light of my long time interest in this facet of phenomena, the show we just completed along with all the other stuff I have done on this over the years, it will get lost in the BS of this new mythology.
I will not say too much here prior to the show airing but I will say I was surprised at how the show went in several areas. You will hear me taking exception at some of this material that was presented, simply because I am interested in presenting as factual material as can be presented. I think it will be interesting to watch how this show will be discussed here on The Paracast, if for no other reason than the forum users here are, IMHO, some of the most astute in computer land.
