Listened to Paracast episode with Don Ecker and scored a copy of Somebody Else is on the Moon and I was wondering if anyone knows of sites on the Internet where I can view high resolution photos of the anomalies that George Leonard discusses. I find lists of the anomalies, but not photos. Any ideas? I would appreciate seeing the images hopefully better than the quality that came with the paperback book.

Good luck. Do a search, I put the Ranger 7 photo up in a thread not that long ago.

I want to see for myself. It's not about faith or investing credence. My problem is I have tried several search engines to track down the photos, but Leonard's alledgly best photos do not appear to be accessible on the Internet. Is anyone aware of a site that does not just list them, but provides access to them in high resolution. NASA's Apollo 16 site has an archive that contains thousands of photos, just not 72-H8-35 etcetera

I recently stumbled across a paperback copy of 'There is somebody else on our Moon' by George Leonard. Having been intersted in transient lunar phenomena for a while and the possibility of ancient ruins on the moon and mars I was very excited to buy the book and started to read it on the bus on the way home (well, go look at the pictures first).
You know what comes next! In the paperback edition at least the pics are way too low quality and small to see much of anything and I have always wanted to get my hands on some large good quality copies. I am still searching.....
There are a few phots that are interesting even at the crap quality and I have to reserve judgement for when I can look at better phots but one thing that I did manage to make out was the giant cog piece of machinery. Not easy to see straight away but once you see it, it is very hard to explain it away.
@NHI if you ever find some good copies (and i've looked too) - please come on the forums and let me (us) know and I will do the same!

No, I meant such the paracast forums for this subject.

I think the problem with the numbers that Leonard's are East Coast numbers and I haven't found a cross-reference yet.

The inability to access NASA's moon photos is legendary. Don Ecker on Dark Matters Radio did several shows with a guy who went through pure hell just trying to look at some Apollo era photos. And didn't someone go before congress trying to get NASA to release all photos a few years back? The argument was.....taxpayer money funded those photos, so taxpayers should have access to them.

I personally want to see the Clementine mission photos.....but considering it was a DOD mission (why the DOD?)......I'm likely never to see them.

Its possible they may be looking for online volunteers

We should scour the moon for ancient traces of aliens, say scientists

Online volunteers could be set task of spotting alien technology, evidence of mining and rubbish heaps in moon images

http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2011/dec/25/scour-moon-ancient-traces-aliens?INTCMP=SRCH

Prof Paul Davies and Robert Wagner at Arizona State University argue that images of the moon and other information collected by scientists for their research should be scoured for signs of alien intervention. The proposal aims to complement other hunts for alien life, such as the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (Seti), which draws on data from radiotelescopes to scour the heavens for messages beamed into space by alien civilisations.
"Although there is only a tiny probability that alien technology would have left traces on the moon in the form of an artefact or surface modification of lunar features, this location has the virtue of being close, and of preserving traces for an immense duration," the scientists write in a paper published online in the journal Acta Astronautica.
