With news that NASA is poised to reveal yet another disclosure about the Red Planet next week, we've invited Dr. John Brandenburg back on The Paracast to help us sort out the ongoing and amazing Martian mysteries.

Dr. Brandenburg is author of “Death on Mars: The Discovery of a Planetary Nuclear Massacre,” which describes a now-dead Martian civilization and the shocking reason for its demise: an ancient planetary-scale nuclear massacre leaving isotopic traces of vast explosions that endure to our present age. Dr. Brandenburg is a veteran plasma physicist and the Senior Propulsion Scientist at Orbital Technologies Corporation in Madison, Wisconsin.

Do you think here are any credible "Made Structures" that have been photographed on the surface of Mars? If so why do you give them credibility as opposed to them being natural formations and tricks of the light ??

Dr. Brandenberg, the science community is supposed to be open to new ideas and discoveries. Why then, do many scientists and institutions seem so locked into the status quo? Are they just protecting their turf?
 
We have a supposed timeframe for a Mars mission. How long do you think it will be before the military nuclear episode on Mars is accepted/proven. Basically in what year will the idea be settled?
 
Dr Brandenburg. A lot of people speculate that cosmic events have taken place in the past involving what I would assume to be mechanical devices. Such as an ancient spacefaring capabilitys or extraterrestrial or, as you would put it a nuclear war from eons ago. Wouldn't the debris or leftover mechanisms from those time periods still exist somewhere? Wouldn't there be pieces orbiting around mars or fragments or even whole mechanisms that could be detected in outerspace?
I asked this question because I believe that is where we should start looking for evidence of off world activity (other than what we already know about), thanks!
