Here's a pic showing 4 similar items that appear to have a similar shape and all display quite a high albedo compared to their immediate surroundings.

Paintshop CS4?

When viewing the high resolution image in PHOTOshop CS4 I see several blue dots/spheres and also a possible "Alien Base" to the lower right of the 1x image..

If this wasn't edited , the person threading this would not be sending hate mail in private message , because i said it was a paintshop job..... my nephew can make more believable pictures and can throw in a few dinosaurs and maybe a russian dancing bear .... if you like .Life on mars do , its abit hard seems in has a dead core and no magnetic field , maybe 2.1 billions years it was plaussible but not now ,its a dead world with at most bacteria .

I second this. Radiation levels are just too high. If life exists, it is underground and microbial.

Now the past, it could be argued, is different. Could there be artifacts on Mars? Sure. But as I have stated before. You have to convince me that the artifact makes sense given the geology, topography, and artifact layout. In these images, I do not see spheres. I see either image processing artifacts or the after affect of unknown geological processes. If I had more information as to the size of the objects and was able to look at surrounding areas for similar features perhaps that could go a long way to decreasing the probability that these are artifacts.

In talking about layout you have to take in account dimension. We have no information on the size of the objects in this photo. We have no link to raw images via the NASA website. We do have a cropped processed image with some dots. All in all the most that can be said is "Hey thats interesting" and then go about your day. Bottom line, until you have more info the image is worthless in the Martian artifact debate.

I agree Ron. What is the scale?? How big an area are we talking about?? How big are these "spheres"? What exactly is the OP saying?? That there is some kind of sphere found on Mars?? Or that they house aliens?? Doesn't seem to be any big deal without a lot more information.

And yes, .. there are true, documented, Martian "blueberries". Or Martian "spheres". But the truth is that they aren't anything special although they appear anomalous at first glance. They happen to be hematite spheres formed through natural processes. They were found near Opportunity's landing area and I'm guessing they may well be found in other areas as well around the planet. And the research teams began to call them "blueberries" . So, ... perhaps that is what we see in the other pictures....I'm not sure... but there's lots of information about these other "blueberries" that were found.

The attachment is not showing up.

This is strange. I first had the pic IN the thread, it was showing. Then there was link to it instead named "attatchment 1364" (who knows what that means??). Even so, when I click on it the picture comes up. I'm using IE and it works. I still apparently haven't figured out how this new forum works and why it does what it does.

Anyway if you search "martian blueberries" you'll see a lot of different pics of these spheres.
