Very interesting. Guy seems legit to me.

Why do they insist on showing that? I just thought it was funny to hear the reporter say we don't know what they are while showing the footage of something that we know.

Apparently Aaron has seen some (stillborn) but its really hard to find. Its a video of a black mass blotting out stars I believe.

I would give this a 100% chance of not existing. Stars don't show up on video (for the most part).

But no matter, I am sure that your mere mention of such a tape will cause said non-existent tape to become part of the kind of top notch "evidence" accepted eagerly here.

In my opinion stars rarely, if ever, show up on video recordings so I remain skeptical of this video. However, there are so many myths that are transmitted throughout the 'UFO community' it can be quite difficult to separate 'fact' from 'fiction', even more so with the passage of time. The fallibility and the way memory is reconstructed only helps muddy, the already murky waters even further.

See what I did there? Repeated what you said without insulting anyone. Try it sometime you might be pleasantly surprised by the responses you get and if not at least you may stimulate the debate.

the video i saw showed a few stars but they were not easy to see. neither was the large object.

LOL--I suppose I just have a low tolerance for idiocy and Mile Long Blimps filmed on video that also show stars fall into that category...

I'm Phoenix Lighted out, but Gareth ask me to come by... I only skimmed one page of this thread.

The video I mentioned elsewhere is rare. Someone did find like 1 second of it and posted it in another thread. It is within a composite vid. You'll see my comments confirming it's the vid.

MUFON journals have dealt with it. It will take some work but check them online around the time of the event. I'm sure Bruce Maccabee knows about the vid, maybe contact him.

Had I known this vid would become so unpopular/rare, I would have kept more references for it years ago.

As for what's on the vid? It's a snowy night time vid of a V-like light configuration. Only one side of the V isn't finished. More like 3/4 of a V. No body can be seen. The lights are white. At times there's a hint of a light flashing iirc.
