I saw this video recently referenced on ATS:

Its got me stumped. They kind of look like cigar-shaped airships to me. I make their color due to refelecting the setting sun (I assume its dusk, not dawn). I'm not sure what city this is in.
 
The person who uploaded the video "Kodik13" was asked in the comments "Отличное видео. А в каком городе это и какого числа ты это снял ?" which means in English "Excellent video. And in what city it is and what date you took it?"* his reply was "это было в москве 18 10 2010" which in English = "It was in Moscow on October 18, 2010"*

*I used google translate so I can not be certain this is accurate as I dont speak russian.

I have just translated some of the other comments and it seems that there was power cut and 200 transformer substations out of action in the north of Moscow. this was blamed on "strong winds"
 
:eek:That is truly some weird goings on there. Given the apparent distance they appear to be quite large. The fact that one arches down and then seems to stop is pretty puzzling. It at times appears to be a rocket exhaust or a jet contrail and at others not so much. Obviously it some swamp gas caught up in a weather balloon reflecting off some ice crystals in the atmosphere. :rolleyes:

It's a guess, but I'd say cylindrical/cigar-shaped, 200ft length if not more. For me, its very difficult to make out their actual movements from this video. Distance from camera to target is also impossible to judge, other than to say probably >10 miles. It appears to me these objects are not rocket-trails/con-trails. Other than that, I'm out of observations except I think those really are Unidentified Flying Objects:).
