Paranormally Disenchanted
Another clash of personalities has occurred in the Paranormal/Conspiracy subculture. David Icke has written a incredibly childish tirade against Jesse Ventura for perceived slights encountered in preparation for a Conspiracy Theory episode.
Most of the time, David Icke presents himself as some sort of evolved and enlightened human being on a spiritual mission to lead the rest of mankind into enlightening and evolving their own consciousness. Incidents like this however, reveal the true nature of spiritual giants (cough) like Icke and provide valuable insight into their real motivations and thoughts.
The amazing thing is that Icke, this enlightened being with an expanded consciousness, seems totally oblivious to how revealing and damaging his juvenile rant is to his public image rather than of the fellow he targets. This sort of thing causes me to literally howl with laughter. (Straightens an unfashionably skinny tie and looks in the mirror, "Good grief, what does that say about me?")
It will be interesting to see how Jesse Ventura responds.
