Moving Lunar Anomaly?

Free episodes:

Hey Folks,

This next one some of you may have already been made aware of, but I figured the time was right to make a thread about it.

The anomaly in this case appears to be moving from one frame to the next. Now I am not saying that this is the case, only that the thing does look like part of it changed position. This could just be dust or a trick of light and shadow, nonetheless I find this one fascinating and I think that you folks might too.

For starters, here is a crop of the object in question. It is the thing next to the fiducial mark (small plus sign). Also note the peculiar bright area below and to the right, this is what initially attracted our attention to this part of the lunar orbiter scan:

Now for the neatest bit.

An animation of the object created using two lunar orbiter frames of the area show what appears to be movement on part of the object:

(*Scans used for animation: lo3 181 h2 and lo3 181 h2c.)

Several members have been shown this and been asked for their debunking of the thing.

Thus far the possibilities are, "dust/fibre on negative" and "trick of light and shadow", but if you guys have any more I want to hear them.

And if you have any lunar anomaly animations, I want to see 'em.

I hope you have enjoyed this lunar anomaly.
