i apologize for the lengthy post im about to make, i dont expect this to be read but so long as its documented for whom ever may be cataloging these sort of things then ive done some good i guess.
my grandmother worked at lockheed martin in antelope valley during the 70's and 80's
i grew up around there and went there quite often growing up as my family did their banking there.
it is a well known story in my family that one night in the early 80's my grandmother woke my mother and her 2 brothers up in the dead of night, and took them to an empty desert clearing
had them all look in the direction of lockheed and after a few minutes a they claim to have seen a glowing orb shaped light take off from the hanger at a very high rate of speed, my mother says it was a ball of light my uncle says it was a disc... not MY story but i always found it interesting and thought i should share that.
when i was about 7, sometime around 1990 - 1991, i was playing in the desert of rosemond california just south of mojave. my sister who was then 9 and i were hunting lizards when she called my attention to the top of a mountain about half a mile from where we were.
hovering next to the mountain peak, about 400 - 500 feet above the ground was a dull grey disc. it was mid day to early evening as we werent aloud out after dark, and i remember it being similar to gunmetal in color. thats it, all i can remember, remember walking througth the desert, looking at the disc, and the rest is a haze... not to imply i was abducted or anything, i assume it being 20 years ago, i forgot the unimportant details of going home and just kept the important details of seeing something weird in the sky.
sometime around my teen years i recall seeing unmarked helicopters flying into the lockheed area from the desert east of the facility, dont know why or what they were up to but i remember thinking it was an odd sight, in that area you see a lot of aircraft and everyone knows aircraft have identifiers or numbers of some sort... these did not
growing up i would often see B-2's flying around over the city, in a group or alone, it wasnt uncommon. also saw many times a B-2 that didnt have such a ridged back end, it was straightened out, almost like an elongated triangle. never thought much of it at the time, but in later years when i started looking into these things i came to realize its possible it was the aurora. lockheed to the south, edwards to the north, a lot of aircraft in the antelope valley skies.
in more recent years, i have seen 2 things i cannot explain but cannot say for certain they were of the "high strange" variety but they were far from normal.
july 4th 2010 in san dimas california approx. 9 pm my family and i are watching the local highschool fireworks display when my attention was drawn to what i thougth at first was a bright star north west of where we were positioned. i saw it, thougth to myself it was strange and tried to continue watching the fierworks but for some reason i kept checking on this star.
every time i looked back at it, nothing had changed same position same intensity, but about half an hour after i first spotted it, i saw it started to move north over the mountain top just east of mt. baldy.
this thing was the same orangish glow of a street light and moved almost at a snails pace, because of the trees positioned around that area the window for which i could observe this was about 8 - 9 inches wide from one tree to another in my perspective, if that makes sense...
but was at the far left side of this window at start then after about 10 minutes or so moved too far right to be visible anymore, it moved so slowly i almost couldnt tell it was moving when i was looking at it, not till i looked away and looked back after a few seconds did i notice it wasnt in its last position until it was eventually gone.
a few weeks later and far less interesting, i was doing some work outside, still in san dimas
i noticed a silver BB shaped object fixed in the sky.
my first thought was its a satellite, but i returned outside a few hours later and it was still in the same position. i dont know much about satellites, how they orbit or dont orbit for that matter but i found it to be strange it was still in teh same position after so much time had passed.
