My favorite Don Ecker Quote

Free episodes:

Skymon876

Paranormal Adept
From the Bob Lazar Gene Huff episode.

Don: "Gene you know this field we have so many nuts and so many flakes Gene we are talking about corn cereal here"

Well trainedobserver I respectfully tend to disagree with that conclusion. I used to feel Bob Lazar was a fraud, however after studying George Knapp's findings I changed my mind. I think Lazar was legit, thats just my peronsal opinion.

Let me correct Don's quote"

Actually I think Don said: "Gene this field is so full of nuts and flakes that we are talking about corn flakes here Gene"

Something like that.

Our own Ron Collin's did a excellent job of running it down in the thread I linked to above. Nothing about Lazar suggests that he was legit. In all likelihood he did gain access to Area 51 in his facility as a repair technician, but not to back engineer alien power plants. His pseudo-scientific jargon filled presentations are just that. I used to think Lazar may have just been used, however I have come to think he was just into the whole scene and played it to the hilt from the MJ12 license tags on up.

If I recall I believe I said "fruits, nuts and flakes" which came out as granola cereal.

You can break a filling on that stuff.

Your shows are full of great moments Don. Again, I just want to say how much I am enjoying these "lost episodes" from the garage you have been playing. I'd love to see them collected in categories like, all the Moon shows, the Ancient Civilization shows, the Ghost shows, The UFO History shows ,etc., etc. I realize you can download the things for free, but I would not be above paying for CDs, DVDs, or thumb drives of collections you have put together and organized reaching back to your early days until today. I bet I'm not the only one who would go for it. Dang, throw in a autographed photo or back issue of UFO magazine and you'd really have a nice product.

I politely disagree. And I could post all the reasons why but again this thread would end up being a 200 page debate on the Lazar story.

The Lazar debate is never going to be solved.

Some buy it some don't

My theory comes from information that could possibly point towards MIT actually being originally a creation of the CIA. Of course this cannot be 100% confirmed, however there are many leads that suggest MIT is a creation of the intelligence community.

Honestly I would be super interested to hear all of your reasons. Listen there was no bigger fan of his than me way back in the day. But, his story just doesnt add up. However, if you feel up to it, lets create a new thread and walk completely through each piece of his story. A few years ago his story was an all consuming fascination for me. I can dust off the old research and we can take it issue by issue. I would absolutely love to drive a nail in the Lazar story coffin or breathe new life into it as the evidence allows. Hell, I know there are angles I didn't pursue, I had a list of them. So if anyone is up for it, I'm up for a trip down the rabbit hole!

Ron in all seriousness you should be interviewed live by Don on DMR maybe even Rich could join in and you could all debate all the evidence pro and con for Lazar, would make for one heck of a show!

A DMR show on Lazar with Ron Collins as a guest would be an instant DMR "classic" episode.

I am sure there exsists a 2,500 page long online debate on wether Lazar is the real deal or not. Maybe in Paranet there was one? I know that the longest online flame war that broke all records I think was about the question " What is God" try that debate and see how many pages of diatribe you get bogged down in.

there was a cool one recently something like "..couldnt find their own ass with a pair of hands, a hunting license and two dogs". haaaaaaaaaaaaaa

"The gas that they use to position the shuttle around is an innert gas,
OK ... like for example it's like blowing carbon dioxide say anybody that's ever had a bb gun
that has used the cylinders of gas ... you'll see no flash with that. It's just a puff of gas."

oops Don ...

So, where is the video from STS-48? Have you seen the vid from STS-48 with the "shot"? The flash blanked the screen, not that puny little puff you see just above.

And let us NOT FORGET that the picture never changed like it would have had the thruster been pushing the shuttle around. The picture did change later when they were adjusting to have their "water dump" which is what NASA tried to claim the object was at first. This is not my first rodeo with this case.

I have to do a proper quote on my favorite Don Ecker quote in this thread and it's from an early episode of the Paracast

"If Jim Mosley and I were walking in the desert and we were a thousand miles from any water source and Jim self combusted in front of me, i wouldn't piss on him to put the fire out."

I remember that

How about when Don said "you can't say that on the radio" to PHILL KLASS

I thought that might get your attention. Yes I've seen the videos. I've seen the debunking. I've heard both sides of the story and as you can plainly see, there is indeed a visible flash. Although they look small on your computer, compare them to the size one of the shuttle windows, and imagine what that would look like from inside. They're plenty large enough. The flashes on the second video look smaller because they are taking place at the other end of the shuttle and mostly obscured by the shuttle's structure. As for the water dump being the cause for the ice, even if that explanation isn't accurate, there are other ways ice particles can form on the shuttle. Does this information mean that the objects in question were ice particles propelled by the thrusters? This article doesn't think so ... you may find it interesting.

"All of the space shuttle's rocket engines use the same "hypergolic" propellants, meaning two different chemical compounds that ignite on contact without the need of any ignition source such as an electrical spark. The fuel is monomethyl hydrazine (MMH) and the oxidizer is nitrogen tetroxide (NTO). This is fairly common knowledge and can be found on many web sites

The important fact about the RCS thrusters that I learned from the NASA engineer is that the two valves that simultaneously open to admit MMH and NTO into the rocket combustion chamber are not located immediately next to the combustion chamber walls. The valve mechanisms cannot withstand the intense heat generated by combustion (about 3500 Celsius)."
