[FONT=&quot] The first time I saw a UFO was 1976. I was living in Silicon Valley, and was visiting my grandmother in Thompson Falls, MT. She owned 40 acres, and I drove up a gravel road, and parked in front of a gravel pit. It was dusk, and I was enjoying the scenery. I observed a white, glowing sphere, silently rise above a ridge, and travel in a horizontal trajectory until it disappeared behind the ridge. I was astounded! What was that? I immediately knew it wasn’t anything manufactured by humans. After that I began to watch the sky at night. I returned to Thompson Falls in July, 1977. I purchased a helium neon laser beam with the intention of signaling the various craft in the sky. The objects reacted immediately to the laser beam. They would change course, hover, and fly directly over my position. One evening I was above the gravel pit with the laser. I had signaled some spherical objects earlier in the evening, packed up the laser, and was about to head back down the mountain; when I observed a hemispherical shaped craft fly overhead at low altitude. It was huge. I estimate it was approximately 300 feet in diameter. It had a silver white surface, and the entire surface area glowed white light equally over the entire surface area of the craft, and the air surrounding the craft was ionized. The surface was completely smooth. There were no engineering features whatsoever. No seams, rivets, windows. It looked like it had been cast as a solid. It flew directly over my position. It made a powerful low frequency sound with rhythmic oscillations. It traveled in an absolutely stabilized horizontal trajectory. The craft flew directly over my position. Words cannot adequately express my astonishment! There was an explosion [/FONT]

I had a portable laser, gel cell, with carrying case, and compact battery powered power supply. I got out of the car and aimed the laser beam directly at the object. It reacted like an eye that had a bright light shined into it. The glowing energy field intensified, and began to pulsate, and it slowly, very slowly, began to descend and went down somewhere into an inaccessible area. It was eerie! Very, very strange! [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] I stopped doing research outside in the field in 1984. There was no way I could take it to another level, and moved on. They didn’t stop and offer to take me for a ride. There continues to be UFO activity in Sanders County. The Internet rekindled my interest. People are filming spheres, and other aerial objects worldwide. People are ostracized for speaking out about UFOs. In my mind what is bizarre; is that there is a non-human intelligence with advanced technology co-existing with us here on earth, and the majority of the human population is oblivious to this fact! A non-human intelligence has been operating in the background. Not important, not newsworthy? Think again! The mystery continues: "On the Paracast."

Looks like a turned-upside plate/soup bowl of white jelly to me, and sorry no I have not. Without you spilling the beans, I reckon you saw a lamp.

Unfortunately, high definition camcorders didn’t exist in 1977. I recreated what I saw as best as I can with the tools I have. In regard to it being a lamp, there are no street lights in the mountains. I observed a hemispherical shaped craft only one time. I just would like to learn if anybody else has seen this type of craft.</m:defjc></m:rmargin></m:lmargin></m:dispdef></m:smallfrac>

I have never seed any kind of UFO that did not quickly become an IFO.
It does look like a luminescent upside-down soup bowl.

Voyager, you have seen something like this? Can you provide a context? Also, don't be so sensitive about the remarks you will get here - we have a sense of humor about things and you can rest assured that someone with over 1000 posts is not a troll.

Seriously, I didn't realize it was an attempt at a re-creation. I thought the poster meant it was original. Now, that I understand what it is I can take it more seriously. It kind of reminded me of something that happened in North Alabama in the late eighties or early nineties. Only, those were more round.

Gene Steinberg suggested I post my experiences in the Paracast forum. I copied and pasted the text, I received a message that there were too many characters. Gene suggested I post it in multiple parts which I did. I don't care how many views I get. The way your web site is structured is the problem not me. Every forum I know about has a limit as to how many characters you can put in a message. If you don't fill it with formatting copied from a Word document, it should be fine. Our forum is structured quite normally, actually. Indeed, I've actually increased the number of allowable content in a message from the default. And I've increased it again, to 50,000 characters. If that's not sufficient, folks, let me know.
