An amazing 193 crop circles have appeared in just one formation in Wiltshire

The circular 90m (300ft) design, believed to represent the passage of the Moon and Sun, contains 193 rings, including six key circles and a seventh in the centre.

Crop circle expert Karen Alexander said: ‘This is the most complex circle so far this year.’ The formation, near the village of Mere, is the first in the area since 1997.

After spending some time looking into Crop Circles my conclusion is that all complex crop circles are man made. Certainly this one in Wiltshire is man made. Anyone who tries to make the argument that these things are too complex for people to make ignores the long history that humanity has of making complex works of art which these things certainly are. To say human beings can't make complex geometric patterns in a crop field ignores the fact that human beings have done far more complex things like sending men to the moon and returning them safely.

There is a fellow in England by the name of Matthew Williams who has the distinction of being the only person ever convicted of making crop circles. His youtube channel contains numerous videos describing everything from how crop circles are designed, how they are made, and how to detect the signs that they are man made. He also has a great documentary that he made on the origins of the practice. He also examines and exposes the pseudo-science and fraud behind many of the claims of noted crop circle researchers who maintain that complex crop circles are not man made.

Matthew claims that there is a 'paranormal' aspect to crop circle making and relates some of those experiences as well. I have suggested that he be a guest on The Paracast but I have no idea if he has been contacted by anyone representing the show. I certainty hope his negative opinon of all things Apple hasn't kept him from being asked to be on the show. :) He is mentioned in Nick Redfern's "Contactees" book .

True crop circles (or non man made ones) were originally called "saucer nests" and were simply circular impressions or swirls made in grass or crops from the apparent landing of some sort of circular craft.
