By the way, while the tv report gives the impression it has been analyzed and they found out what it is (the guy tells the reporter they have the findings and motions to the house and and tells the reporter she can look at it) the news article linked to states:
So who knows- maybe they haven't been able to figure out what it is. My guess is it's been analyzed and they know what it consists of- but they can't explain why it's occurring, at least by natural means. Or maybe they just have a general idea of what it is. Anyway, it's an interesting story and I appreciate the original poster posting it.
