A Paracast Listener Is Me.
I have reached what may be my peak in my musical endeavors.

My band is playing a 10 day stint at the Iron Horse Saloon (again :D). Thusday night, we reached the unreachable.

We have achieved the "brown note"!

Yep, that's right. We actually made the fella running the monitors crap his pants. Literally. Clenched-cheek run to the bathroom. The Mythbusters said it couldn't be done, but we did it!

After 6 nights of him constantly turning down the monitors, we now know why he was doing it.

I don't know what we'll ever do to top it, or even equal it. I mean, what do you do to follow that? Spontaneous combustion?

I just wanted to share this achievement. I'm so proud......

HELL YEAH!!! We now need a headbanging smilie Gene :)

Nice one subject x, Respect. I can just picture it now, f.....g brilliant.

All hail the power of ROCK.

I bow to my Master.
I've been at a Butthole Surfers show that had such an intense combination of lights and sounds that it almost seemed like the whole audience had some sort of seizure simultaneously. I remember some one screaming "Is that a UFO coming down!" It really did seem like everyone was just kind of looking around at each other like, "What just happened?"

I can relate. A week ago I went to see U2 in Tampa. Absolutely freakin' ridiculous! It's not even a concert anymore, more of a multi-media spectacle. The stage spanned from the end zone to out past the 50 yard line, and stuck up out of the top of the stadium. If you haven't seen their current set-up, search U2 360.

They were seriously loud, too. Right on the edge of pain. But I have seen no reports of anybody crapping themselves. :D

Thanks! I'm sure Frank would be proud. I miss him....

I went and added a note about this on the Mythbusters forum. It remains to be seen what kind of response I get, but I'd put my money on disbelief.

I find it interesting how little people seem to care about this monumental achievement. I've posted about it on a guitar forum I'm on, and there has been one response....."Tell the Mythbusters". Not even the usual "pics or it didn't happen" type responses.

I mean, this is Rock & Roll mythology come true. Maybe people have different priorities than I do, but to me, making someone crap their pants with sound is a major event.

But I'm weird, too.......:D
