If aliens ever come to here and they have bad intentions, we’ll never stand a chance. They have technology that brings them here from thousands of light years and the technology to survive the harsh environment called space. I think they might find out that F-22′s, nuclear weapons and stealth might not do the job. It’s like us looking at bacteria under a microscope.

It really depends doesn't it? If they look at us as beings with a purpose and a "soul" (for won't of a better word) then maybe they will be kind and try to "help" us adjust. If they look at us the way we look at bats and bears then they might just tag us for future "study." If they look at us as being "in the way" of their own welfare they might just "wipe us off the face of the earth." I was watching a Alabama Public T.V. documentary on bats today. The Biologist were tagging them and making a study. But, to the bats these "large creatures" were holding them by the wings and putting something on their skin and catching them in a net before releashing them. Their "perception" was totally different than the intent of the Biologist. So, who knows what might happen if aliens were to really show up here.

These are good points. I see no reason to believe that one might be more likely than the other though. Given the grave consequences of making a mistake I think its prudent to plan for the worst and hope for the best. I say until we learn otherwise, we view all potential "ET" or "Non-human" contact as extremely hostile, subversive, deceptive, and a risk to national and planetary security. Non-human intelligences or "humans" from somewhere else should be viewed and treated like dangerous wild animals until they proven otherwise. Its the only "right" thing to do.
