Interesting article - thanks for posting.

Two points I find interesting:

1. The old excuse of "the Ministry of Defence, said that while it does monitor air space for any unusual foreign objects which might pose a threat, they would not be carrying out an investigation in this instance" is still alive and kicking.

2. The article mentions Nick Pope, who I haven't heard about for quite a while. I wonder, what are the views on him here? Regardless of personal persuasion, one would have to admit that Nick Pope is one of the very few people who can speak with a certain amount of authority on the subject.

I posted a documentary here and Nick seemed to have changed his tune quite a bit in regards to ufos. He seemed to down play the evidence for ufos.

Nick is a nice guy. I've corresponded with him a bit and he's one of the many researchers at ufoupdates. There's a rumor floating around that he's an abductee. Don't buy into it.

That's because the documentary you posted had interviewed him before he left the MOD, if it's the one I'm thinking of..
He changed his tune but you've got it backwards.

Which documentary are you referring to?

This was not before he worked for the MOD, but well after.

If you do know of any interviews he did about ufos before, or doing his time with MOD, please let me know. I would like to see them. Thanks.

Damned, where I live YouTube is blocked, I currently can't watch a single video. I tried using proxy servers, but that didn't work either - perhaps something to do with me using a Mac? (Any ideas, folks..?)

Thanks for the link, but the page doesn't even open...
I tried various proxies, and I got as far as seeing the opening image of the video. When I click the start arrow, the image changes to "Loading...", as it should - but it doesn't load. It could have something to do with Java Script, some proxy sites seem to strip JS. However, I tried one site where I could choose to leave JS enabled, but still no joy. Bummer.

Any more suggestions much appreciated!
 
That's OK, we should have a democratically elected prime minister by the end of the year. In the meantime... I found a combination of browser and proxy that works (albeit painfully slowly). So - if you don't mind posting the video URL as well, rather than only the embedded link? Cheers.
 
Well, well, well... These testimonies are about as solid as they can get. An airline pilot and his passengers, plus air traffic control. Respect to the pilot for going public, that's pretty brave.

Funny how air traffic control confirmed that "their radar picked up some activity in the area, but say the data can't be taken as evidence for the UFO's presence". That's like saying: "I took a photo of a tree, but that doesn't mean it was there".
 
:mad: it could have been a pterodactyl from the Mesozoic period which entered from a time portal due to spacial distortion of the UFO..
