For those interested, there is a new nova in the northern skies that appeared earlier this week in the constellation Delphinus..........and you can just see it shining at a magnitude of 5.
Here's a chart to help you locate it. Binoculars are very helpful in seeing something as dim as a mag 5 object, telescopes naturally being the best.
