In my life, I've known two men whose fathers worked at Area 51 and Los Alamos National Labs. The guy whose dad worked at Los Alamos knew almost nothing about his dad's work. The fellow whose dad worked at Area 51 seem to me to know too much about his dad's job and A.51 (puported) goings on. Although I really like this fellow, I don't trust his information.

Still, he's also worked for government in several areas so when he said that the government routinely tests cattle all over the country, particularly where radiation from nuclear testing (Nevada and New Mexico) or uranium mining has occurred, (Colorado.) I listen with a half deaf ear. This guy doesn't make excuses for a governmental program that kills valuable animals, but only states it does go on and has for many years. In a way, it makes sense, regardless that it's illegal and truly harmful to ranchers and their herds. It's a way to get random soft tissue sampling.

It doesn't explain the strange nature of many mutilations unless we allow laser surgery having been around far longer than we know, nor does it explain why so many in a herd might fall prey to testing in a short timeline. It certainly doesn't explain why scavengers avoid a free meal nor the unexplained nature of how cattle are extracted from a herd and returned in a pristine manner.

The whole subject gives me a headache because nothing really makes sense at all.
