Study Shows Monsanto GMO Causes Giant Cancer Tumors

Who would have thunk it, huh?

I eat *lots* of corn tortillas from La Michoacana.

How could I not? You get like 100 of them for two bucks!

I hope my testes don't get a big tumor.

Fortunately, I don't use my testes much anymore. Losing them wouldn't be as a great a loss as for a 30 year-old. I do still like them quite a lot.

The Monsanto Protection Act  ! WTF ... So that's what they snuck through in the deal to resolve the government shutdown  ! You had to know there was another agenda behind the scenes. Man-o-man  !

Well, I guess I better start making sure my beloved nachos are made from organic corn !

Thanks for that video.

Good stuff. So what do we do about it besides stop buying GMO?

I'd like to think my torillas come from an ancient strain of maize passed down from the Aztecs and grown last summer by a Mexican peasant using cow manure and brought to market via burro before being trucked to the stone mill in Houston.

In reality La Michaocana tortillas are probably made of federally-subsidized Monsanto corn from Nebraska shipped to a giant Archer Daniels Midland processing facility in Illinois via railcar. :)

Are GMOs safe? Yes. The case against them is full of fraud, lies, and errors.

Interesting article I thought. I've kind of changed my mind on this over the past couple of years. In the end I don't think that oversight on GMO foods are any more necessary than any other food. Which is not to say Monsanto isn't a money grabbing corporation hell bent on domination. If one wants to disparage Monsanto for that, fine, and yes they f***ed up w/BGH but I don't think there is much merit in avoiding GMOs for health reasons, moral maybe but not health.
