In the imortal words of Battle Star Galactica "THANK THE GODS!" No more Wild Bill? I feel like its Christmas.

Has the Scifi-flavored show been renewed?

At first glance, I didn't see any new news on the link.

Unfrackinfortunately I think this is the other UFO Hunters show which didn't get picked up by anyone after the pilot. Bit of a shame as it was better than the other one (just)...

Yeh, I watched one ufo hunters shows, thinking it was the crappy one and was like wtf? I didn't have much complaint. Then Someone told me there are/were two. The one I saw wasn't bad. Bill wasn't on it. Basically, I gave up hope Loooooong ago when it comes to tv (for the most part, I was surprised at the 1 ufo hunter show I saw though). Seriously. They do not do a good job when dealing with anything remotely profound. If and when they do, it's due to consulting with people... that rarely watch tv... but are out there doing active investigations and such.

I confess, I had high hopes that one of the shows might help "mainstream" the UFO topic (similar to how Ghost Hunters has "mainstreamed" ghosts).

I thought the Scifi version (only one episode aired) had potential --- at least I liked it.

The History Channel version horrified me at first, although I feel that it was gradually improving as it continued. (I don't know if it has been renewed.)

That History Channel-version episode Bill Birnes said that one of the experiences of a witness was clearly evidence of "hybridization" left me feeling dismayed. He just seemed to totally pull that out of thin air.

I have nothing but contempt for what's being passed as investigative journalism in the UFO field.

UFO hunters is laughable 90% of the time, and you have to wade through so much idiocy to get to one or two salient points. Speculation is not truth.
