This got me thinking...

North Koreans have demonstrated their capability to send a satellite in orbit but lack the ability of delivering a nuke to localized target (re-entry vehicle). What stops them from blasting a nuke in space above north america and sending everyone back to the dark ages ?

No mention of this anywhere.
